LE(t)GO
Poetry by Thomas Fucaloro
-------
Authors intro:
apart: (of two or more people or things) separated by a distance; at a specified distance from each other in time or space.
a part: a piece or segment of something such as an object, activity, or period of time, which combined with other pieces makes up the whole.
It’s so interesting what a space can do. How you can fill it or take it apart. In this collection of LEGO bricks/poems, in deconstructing and rebuilding relationships, I pull it apart as much as I can, so you can fit these poems over your eyeballs and build whatever you like; the focus is on how we all come apart, and how a part of ourselves helps put it all back together. My parents have done this. So have my relationships: past and present. So have my friends. So has my community. So has poetry. So has LEGO.

".....get right to the heart of LE(t)GO; a collection that walks us through how to build things. Relationships, families, walls, escape routes-- all with no handy instruction manual, all unfolding in this book brick by brick."
– Rob Sturma, Editor-in-chief, FreezeRay Poetry
"This is a book by an author of tremendous humility, grace, and insight.... Unafraid to not to be the hero of his poems, he becomes heroic in his honesty."
– Liv Mammone, editor at Game Over Books
